Setup the tank for the first time as a saltwater tank.
1/01
Put my first Saltwater fish in the tank. It was a yellow tail damsel.
Added a few pounds of Live Rock from a LFS. I also added 2 domino damsels.
Lost all fish due to an ICH infestation. Or at least what I think was ICH. I was not able to get to a LFS in time to medicate the poor little guys.
Added Pomacentrus alleni (Allen’s Promacentrus) to the tank
2/01
Added two Pseudochromis paccagnellae (Royal Dottyback’s)
4/01
TRAGEDY!!! Lost Allen's Promacentrus and one Royal Dottyback to Ich or Marine Velvet.
Moved sole survivor from my 20 Gal tank to my 45 Gal tank. I will go fish less in the 20 gal tank in hope of killing Ich parasites. No host = No Ich.
Added Cleaner Shrimp and Hawaiian Feather Duster. I have heard that the Cleaner shrimp may eat the Ich parasites in egg form on the substrate. Only time will tell. I have added pics of my Cleaner Shrimp and Feather Duster to this page.
8/01
Added two small maroon clowns and mushroom rock
1/02
Added Alveopora or it more common name (Flowerpot Coral)
