The Dallas World Aquarium
Introduction
This page outlines my trip to the Dallas World Aquarium. If you should ever find yourself in the Dallas/Fort Worth area I highly suggest going and checking it out for yourself.
This aquarium is much more than just fish. There are all kinds of wild life in the aquarium as you walk around. Various birds, lizards, alligators, snakes, spiders, and yes fish.
The following text comes directly from the Dallas world aquarium flyer that is handed out when you enter.
"Decend into a South american rain forest filled with rare and exotic indigenous plants, monkeys and beautiful soft-billed touecans. Follow the bamboo-planked paths down into the jungle where you find crocodiles below, a jaguar in the tree and experience a face-to-face encounter with vicious piranhas! The path continues under water for a look at the world's largest freshwater aquarium with Antillean manatees, giant catfish, schooling cichlids and huge turtles. You then find yourself surrounded by more than 85,000 gallons of saltwater including a 22,000 gallon walk-through tunnel. Wrasses, stingrays, endangered Green sea turtles and rare Leafy seadragons are only a few of the intriguing marine life at Dallas World Aquarium.."
I hope the people at the aquarium don't get pissed by me including the text above. But I have also tried to give credit due where it is due.

Click on one of the smaller pics below to get a larger picture. Some of the pics are a little dark especially the ones that I took of the "huge" Moray Eel that was on display. Its tank was relatively dark and did not want to use the flash.
If you want to see the rest I guess you'll just have to go there yourself
